Flickr project

I'm trying to conquer this Flickr assignment and I'll do it by jigger. My daughter and I had an opportunity to visit the Magnolia Plantation in April of 2006 while visiting family in Charleston. It was a wonderful trip - we had so much fun I want to do it again! The Plantation was magnificient and the only disappointment was that the Magnolias were not yet in bloom. We saw 'gators, turtles and many varieties of tropical birds. One of these was a species that swam with it's body under water and only it's head and beak were above water. They told us it looked like a snake when swimming. We were shown the slaves quarters, very bare and at a distance from the planation house. We had a great tour of the plantation house, also, and it had a lovely art gallery and gift shop. Gotta love those gift shops!!
